Brianne has ten years of experience in the medical marijuana, recreational marijuana, and industrial hemp industries in Colorado. Raised in Lawrence, KS and a graduate of Lawrence Free State High School, Brianne attended The University of Kansas where she received a Bachelor of General Studies in Sociology.

Brianne has worked in the cannabis industry since 2009. Originally a patient of the dispensary, she was hired as the Office Manager at Patients Choice of Colorado to help three experienced cannabis growers build and manage their dispensary. She was quickly promoted to Operations Manager and helped manage the company’s growth into a chain of four retail stores and two modern production facilities with ~30,000 square feet of cultivation area and over 80 employees. Brianne developed Standard Operating Procedures to ensure quality control throughout the operation and helped establish a new industry standard by facilitating the inclusion of a comprehensive benefits programs for employees.

In 2013, Brianne helped manage the transition of retail and cultivation operations from a medical-only to adult-use system with distinct medical (Patients Choice) and recreational (LiveGreen) retail brands. Responsible for state and local compliance for 40+ distinct medical & retail marijuana licenses, DC B.B. managed relations and licenses with the Colorado Department of Revenue Marijuana Enforcement Division and the cities of Denver, Edgewater, and Lakewood. She implemented multiple inventory and point-of-sale management systems including MMjOS, MJFreeway, Adilas, and METRC. Brianne also spearheaded the opening of the company’s new medical marijuana center in Lakewood, Colorado.

Since co-founding SproutHouse in 2014, Brianne has assisted clients with applications for new dispensary and cultivation licenses in the US, worked with clients in Colorado, Canada, and Barbados to build licensed research and production facilities, and worked with startups to bring new cannabis ideas to market. Brianne is also the editor of Passpot, a pocket guide to medical cannabis.

She co-founded SproutHouse Supply LLC in Independence, Missouri in 2019. Brianne is also Director of Compliance at Red Tractor Cannabis, a Missouri medical marijuana company.

Brianne lives in Lawrence, Kansas with her husband, their Yorkie named Snickers, and their grumpy cat, Donatello. They are in the process of relocating to Missouri.
